She Blinded Me with Bubbles: the Science of Champagne
Wednesday 4/1 | 8:30pm | Taught by Alexis Percival
A Zoom "Drink-a-long" with Alexis Percival, where science and sensuality collide. Digging deeper into the science of Champagne she'll discuss what is really happening in the fermentation processes, provide an overview of the history of Champagne as we know it now, explain the 'bubble train' and how to get on it, and more. (For those of you who have attended previous Champagne classes, this will not be a repeat, but rather a closer look at the nerdy-ness in the bubbles.)
For a full experience be prepared to open a bottle of Champagne (be safe and order delivery!). Any quality level is acceptable. If Champagne is not available, any traditional method sparkling will do in a pinch. DM @alexis_percival if you have questions.
